Getting Started

Complimentary Fitness Assessment

Once you’ve decided you want to get into great shape and join a community of like-minded individuals, you can contact us to make an appointment for a fitness assessment. This is going to be a great experience to get to know us, and meet our team. We need to also find out your cores motivations and set some goals.

We first look at how you move, assess your fitness and put you through a short workout. The whole experience is to give you a much clearer sense of what it’s like to train with us, and then decide if you want to continue with our fundamentals program.

Fit For Life Program

How often do you pick something off the floor every day? How many times to you get into and out of a chair? Wouldn’t it be good to know if you’re doing these simple, daily tasks correctly, in a controlled setting with a knowledgeable and experienced coach to help you do those right? Our fit for life program is designed so that you can go anywhere in the world, into any gym, and squat properly, deadlift properly, perform a proper pull up progression that is appropriate for you, or any other movement that we cover, properly. Our program is to alter the way you move, eat, and maybe even how you live your life. We also want you to have fun in our group classes!

Our coaches are dedicated, and professional. They’re here to guide you one to one on a fitness journey, through which you will come out moving better, eating better, and living a better, fuller, life. We have 30+ movements we teach in class, and we need to develop a decent level of competency in them or a progression of that. Our movement standards are high, and we take teaching them very seriously. You moving well, will ensure your health both inside and outside of the gym. Not only this, but it will help you show it to others and therefore improve the people around you. This information and coaching stretches beyond just yourself.

Therefore, you will start off with a minimum of 10 one-to-one sessions, although this could be beyond 20. It’s the only way to truly learn both gymnastic and weightlifting movements properly, along with developing a daily mobility routine, and improve on various lifestyle habits.

It also gives us, the coaches, the opportunity to get to know you, understand your strengths and weaknesses and address any individual needs or injuries.

Following your intro session and first 10 one-to-one sessions are completed, we shall decide together how many more sessions you will require and this is usually based on reaching certain proven movement quality benchmarks.

If you’d like to know more, put your details into our submit box, and one of our team will contact you very shortly (usually on a week day, within 2 hours).

Group Classes

Once you have graduated, you can begin group classes. This is when you get to work out with others. Don’t be surprised if you make quick progress, get hooked on the atmosphere and quickly make friends. There is something unique about CrossFit gyms and the connections you make with others.

We are all driven in different ways, of course. And while the atmosphere is competitive, some of us compete with ourselves, while others compete against each other – all for rounds, time or points.

Don’t be intimidated if you are not a competitive person. Our aim is not for you to be the best, but only for you to become the best YOU can be.

CrossFit workouts will likely take you to new physical and emotional peaks. You will not be left alone to complete the assigned workouts. Our coaches are there for you – to correct your form, offer you encouragement and advise you about anything you are unsure about. That’s our job.

Remember, our goal is to help you achieve yours.

All our prices are in pound sterling, include all taxes and purchases are final. Payment is required BEFORE you begin training. We accept credit card and BACS payments.

There are no refunds, exchanges or transfers of sessions. We do make exceptions on medical conditions.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy on all sessions booked with your coach. If you either cancel or do not attended the session within this 48 hour period before the session, then you will be charged at full rate for the PT.

These decisions are considered on a per situation basis. If you ever have any questions or concerns, you can contact us directly at:

[email protected]

  1. Putting a “hold” on a monthly or yearly membership can and will ONLY be done for valid medical reasons. Sorry but taking a holiday/business trip for a week does not count as a medical reason. Other emergency or personal situations will be considered on a case by case basis.
  2. Membership cancellation- If you cancel your membership for ANY REASON other than a valid medical reason (doctors note required) this will carry an administration fee of £30 for every month left in the contract up to a total of £180. All our contracts are for 12 months.

Thanks for reading and understanding that we are a small business and will do our best to accommodate you, but we still need to eat and pay our trainers and the rent to keep this facility up and running.
